**OPEN HOUSE, JULY 19th - see details below!**

CREATIVE EXCHANGE LAB is Seattle’s first public research lab providing community access to open-source art + tech + science incubation for collectively-owned, human-centered innovation and problem solving.

This summer, JULY-AUGUST 2018, Creative Exchange Lab will be in residence at Pacific Science Center and other pop-up venues throughout the city.

Join us for workshops, presentations, open lab time with local and visiting artists and technologistst, project incubation, demos, an exhibit of pioneering immersive experiences, evening events with a Reality Bar, and a culminating showcase of the lab projects!

Along side these activities, we will be actively researching and experimenting with:

  • Models and mechanisms for collective, open-source ownership to unlock IP for the public interest - e.g. Creative Exchange Agreements
  • New financial instruments - smart contracts, micro-payments, community coin offering - for advancing public interest art+technology education, incubation and innovation
